Workshops -
Helen conducts a variety of textile workshops to suit both adults and children. 

Natural Dying
An introduction to natural dyeing techniques. Producing a series of sample cards demonstrating
the different colours that can be extracted from plants, barks and leaves etc.

Tapestry Weaving
For beginners or advanced, learning the techniques of tapestry weaving and using it to explore
colour, texture and shape.

Miniature Rug Weaving
Working on a miniature rug learning flat weave and knotting techniques.

From " Fleece to Piece"
One week workshop covering preparation of yarns, drop spindle spinning, natural
dyeing and finally weaving a small tapestry.
