Alison Moger

Statement - 
As a textile designer I love to explore the use of traditional stitch and print with its narrative qualities. The use of more unusual items such as metal, 
wire and paper are also used where relevant. My work reflects on the recycling ethos and the use of well-worn domestic textiles and vintage fabrics 
are used with sensitivity.

My work is innovative and contemporary and many pieces are one- offs or commissioned for individuals. I am inspired by my surroundings along with 
family and community life, these individual works of art hold a quirky humour and reflect on childhood, within a close-knit community.
